Provides supports to the Assistant Vice President of Group Human Resources in the area of developing, facilitating and delivering training programs for employees that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.

The role will also actively evaluate organizational performance to ensure that training is addressing specific business needs and improving performance to meet business objectives.

Learning & Development

  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization
  • Develop individualized and group training programs; training manuals and annual training framework for the organization including but not limited to delivery of training programs.
  • Drive brand values and philosophy through all training and development activities.
  • Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver training.
  • Keep abreast of training trends, developments and best practices and review the existing training framework as at when necessary.
Administration

  • Facilitate inhouse training activities including preparation of training materials and assessment.
  • Handle all training administration duties including course registration and training records tracking. Following up on liaison with external training vendors; tracking of invoices and payment schedules etc.
  • Preparation of monthly reports for management.
  • Involved in special projects or new HR initiatives from time to time.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of deliver of training experience in the hotel industry
  • Track record in developing and execute successful training programs.
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Diploma or Degree from a recognized tertiary institution
  • ACTA or ACLP qualifications or other training certificates.
  • Able to develop effective and targeted training programs
  • Handson training in all aspects of training
