Description

We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the implementation, analysis, and improvement of processes and equipment within our organization's plants.

As a Chemical Engineer, your responsibilities will encompass conducting research studies, designing innovative solutions, and overseeing the seamless implementation and troubleshooting of various procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Using scientific, mathematical and engineering principles to solve problems and improve processes
  • Designing, proposing, implementing, reviewing and correcting plans to ensure company goals are achieved
  • Observing production processes, conducting research and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality
  • Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products.
  • Coordinate and perform tests.
  • Analyze data to develop conclusions.
  • Communicate results of analysis and research.
  • Design processes and equipment for largescale manufacturing, plan and test production methods and byproducts treatment, and direct facility operations.
  • Travel to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design
  • Assist with establishing budgets and timelines

Requirements and Skills:


  • Degrees' qualifications in Science/Chemistry
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Chemical Engineer
  • Minimum 2 years' experience
  • This is a new plant setup in Singapore which requires motivated person with high initiatives, handson capability and good chemical knowledge, particularly in the area of cleaning chemistry.
  • Opportunity for training in USA to transfer the chemistry technology and production methodology to Singapore
  • To setup the manufacturing facilities, SOP and Quality standard in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Strong knowledge of engineering science and technology including the safe use and disposal of chemicals.
  • To assist production, customer support, QA, logistic and R&D in the normal running of operation.
  • Proven work experience as a Chemical Engineer or similar role
  • Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background
  • Computer literacy to run simulations and conduct ongoing research
  • Exceptional problem solving, verbal and written communication, presentation and project management skills
  • Basic salary commensurate with experience
