- Provide specialized counselling, education, training support for the public and other professionals in the broad area of advanced pharmacotherapy, with emphasis on chronic diseases management, the quality of life and medication safety.
- Assist in managing and supervising team for efficient daily operation of the Pharmacy department.
- Responsible for the procurement of high-quality pharmaceutical items.
- To perform daily work duties according to department or organisation standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Assess, identify, and resolve any medication-related issues through medication review, reconciliation, and optimization.
- Provide medication-related information, counselling, trainings and resource support to public, team, other professionals, and management staff.
- Provide recommendations to fellow healthcare professional to optimize care-plan based on the latest clinical practice guidelines e.g. assist in the selection of most cost effective, evidence-based regimen for patients; monitor patients' response to medication regimen; recommend appropriate lab and follow-up action.
- Participate in multidisciplinary research and care plan, inter professional training, departmental and hospital level quality assurance, and improvement efforts.
- Assist in the collection, collation and analysis of data related to medications e.g. errors and near misses, prescribing trends, usage, wastage, pricing, and cost effectiveness methodology.
- Assist in identifying, developing, implementing quality assurance program and conduct quality assurance audit.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of the full spectrum of pharmacy services eg. inventory management and control, contracts and procurement, product recalls, documentations, and archive.
- Assist in training, supervising and performance assessment of reporting staff, intern students, volunteers, and pre-registration pharmacists.
- To perform other duties as required.
- Degree in Pharmacy
- Registered with the Singapore Pharmacist Board with a valid patient care practicing license
- Candidate with hospital, clinical or retail pharmacy experience will be preferred.
- Good clinical and drug knowledge and adopts a life-long learning attitude.

- Monday (8.30am to 5.15pm inclusive of one hour lunch break)
- Tuesday to Friday (8.30am – 5.30pm inclusive of one hour lunch break)
- Saturday (Once in every 4 weeks 8.30am pm)
- Total 40.75 hours per week
