Major tasks and responsibilities of position (max. 8 key topics)- Manage development of marketing plans and lead activation across both countries in by working with Ascensia and/or Distributor country commercial teams to deliver on country priorities, leverage market opportunities and support achievement of financial and growth business objectives at a regional and country level.
- Lead the development and execution of marketing activation campaigns and communication materials to drive the performance and adoption of Ascensia brands with customers (HCPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Patients). Manage assigned P&I budgets by tracking, analysing and prioritizing expenses and funding allocation within projects to meet financial commitments.
- Responsible for the implementation of activation tactics, providing country consultancy or project management support to deliver on program objectives, foster marketing and commercial excellence and drive business impact.
- Collaborate with Ascensia colleagues on new product development or other global marketing initiatives to support product portfolio management, introduction of new products and launch readiness/excellence at a country level.
- Work with commercial & marketing colleagues in the region to develop customer and market insights, evaluate ROI of marketing plans and develop new strategies and initiatives that can leverage regional and country opportunities to accelerate growth and performance in the APAC region.
- Foster sharing of synergies and learnings between countries in APAC and with global marketing and digital teams, in order to improve our customer activation and drive impact and efficiency of marketing plans.
- Support development of high quality tactical/strategic co-operation with external partners or customers to identify and exploit in-market synergies or opportunities and drive value for Ascensia.
- Support Head of Marketing or take the lead on special business projects in the region such as assessment of new business opportunities, evaluation of new products, development of marketing community and capabilities, participation in project teams, etc.
- University degree in marketing, business or life science, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 8 years marketing and business experience, preferable in healthcare in either medical devices, BGM, consumer packaged goods/OTC or Rx
Proactive, results-oriented with demonstrated ability to recognize trends, market opportunities and/or threats.
Problem solver, analytical rigor, and project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with people across multiple levels of the organization
Experience and skills in working in global/regional functions
Experience in people management
Language skills:
Fluent in English and Mandarin
Able and willing to travel
