Roles & Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position entails the key leadership role for overseeing Service Desk, Deskside Support, and End User Device Asset Management across global regions such as North America, Asia, India, and Europe. The responsibilities include managing a distributed global team, with occasional international travel to various Lam sites (1-3 times/quarter).

Job Responsibilities:

Establish and strive for continuous enhancement of service standards for end user support and asset management.
Define benchmarks for end user support, identifying and implementing enhancements for service levels, user satisfaction, and KPIs.
Serve as the escalation point for complex or persistent support issues.
Offer guidance and promote professional growth among team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
Develop and execute strategies for the lifecycle management of end user assets, incorporating best practices for procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of hardware and software.
Manage and monitor quarterly budget forecasts/adjustments, resource planning, and future technology expenditures.
Enhance and maintain lifecycle management systems to ensure thorough documentation and tracking of assets.
Improve procedures for incident management.
Lead and supervise the planning, implementation, and completion of operational and continuous improvement projects within the IT support domain.

Job Requirements:

BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science, IS/IT, or equivalent, with 8-10 years of relevant experience and 5+ years in a managerial role
Desirable to have ITIL certifications
Prior experience with ServiceNow (Incident Management and Asset Management) is highly advantageous.
Experience in managing diverse global teams with varying language and cultural backgrounds.
