    Business Partner & Solutions

    You will help to explore new, and existing technology to support our strategic, and operational business needs across our Public Markets, Private Markets, Total Portfolio Risk, Corporate Services, and Enterprise Solutions.

    What will you do as a Business Analyst?

    • Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements with users, incorporating industry and enterprise requirements, risk, as well as internal/external design factors
    • Translate business requirements into acceptance criteria for internal development teams, vendors or solution providers
    • Conduct system integration tests, coordinate with business users on user acceptance tests
    • Develop and maintain documentation and user guides for the use of new or enhanced systems
    • Maintain strong relationship with business users/stakeholders
    • Ensure dynamic and continuous technology delivery using Agile methodologies, Scrum in particular. Conduct backlog refinements with the business users, sprint reviews with the internal development team and stakeholders, retrospectives and sprint planning with the internal development team
    • Work closely with peer teams in Portfolio Execution Group Technology
    • Collaborate with peer teams within GIC on multidiscipline projects and front-office and back-office initiatives
    • Work with vendors and solution providers to implement new business solutions or enhancements on current features
    • Interact with financial institutions, International Banks and Brokers for new business requirements and day-to-day BAU correspondences

    What makes you a successful candidate?

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in financial markets technology, doing development, business and system analysis, and/or implementation of front office trading applications and solutions, preferably portfolio management systems
    • Hands on experience in conducting business analysis functions, stakeholder management, solution designing, and software test planning, vendor management and production support of front office trading applications
    • Hands on experience in working as part of highly effective Agile software development team
    • Preferably with financial market knowledge in Equity, Futures and Options, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives and OTC products, Regulations and Compliance
    • Ability to strive in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment, familiar in communicating with team members, stakeholders, business users and IT subject matter experts
    • Have good grasp of writing and understanding DDL / DML for both SQL and NoSQL databases
    • Ability to code in any object oriented or scripting languages will be a plus
    • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
