Overview of the Role
The Strategic Proposal Analyst will craft compelling, high-quality proposals for custom software development and IT professional services, transforming complex technical inputs into persuasive narratives that demonstrate value, feasibility, and strategic differentiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading end-to-end creation of proposals and RFx responses for project-based IT and software development engagements.
- Synthesizing diverse inputs from technical, delivery, and commercial teams into structured, client-focused narratives.
- Writing and refining executive summaries, delivery approaches, value propositions, and differentiators to effectively communicate key messages.
- Ensuring responses are strategically positioned, technically feasible, and commercially competitive.
- Managing proposal schedules, stakeholder reviews, and final submissions to meet deadlines with quality and precision.
- Partnering with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers, and Sales Executives to ensure proposals reflect accurate delivery logic and business goals.
- Developing and maintaining reusable proposal content including case studies, delivery narratives, success stories, and templates.
- Creating presentation materials and sales collateral to support presales discussions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and content libraries.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years in IT outsourcing, consulting, or professional services with hands-on proposal development
- Technical Understanding: Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and delivery frameworks
- Engagement Models: Understanding of pricing structures including Time & Materials, Fixed-Price, and Managed Services
- Project Knowledge: Comprehension of project phases (Discovery, Design, Build, QA, Deployment)
- Communication: Outstanding English writing and communication skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Tools: High proficiency in Google Workspace
- Preferred Skills: Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and familiarity with UX/UI or AI concepts
