About the Role:


The Digital Business Manager/Senior Manager (A&O) plays a key role in building the data ecosystem and driving analytical requirements to support Dyson's growth in our eCommerce Business.


This role will also be managing and training a team of fresh graduates as part of our early career's program (RACE) and play an important role in embedding a culture of test and learn in the organization, nurturing the next generation of eCommerce specialists.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The 5 main areas of responsibilities are 1) Data Aggregation & Management for Actionable Insights, 2) Enhancing Customer Experience & Sales through Optimization, 3) Data Pipeline & Roadmap, 4) Stakeholder Management & Reporting, 5) Training & Elevating.

Data Aggregation & Management

  • Consolidate data for accurate reporting and visualization across various sources and analytical tools and reporting periods
  • Collaborate with Group and local market for universal reporting that can be used to drive actionable insights at the regional and local level
  • Develop, build and maintain data integrity
  • Identify business opportunities using insights across category, pricing, promotion, mix etc
  • Work with other functional analysts (e.g. performance marketing) to get holistic insights across shopper journey from awareness, consideration, traffic generation to conversion and advocacy
Enhancing Customer Experience and Sales through Optimization

  • Support local digital analysts and site merchandisers with daily monitoring of site health, performance and customer experience
  • Develop opportunities on site that aids towards better shopping experience, higher conversion, average order value, resulting revenue and repeat purchases
  • Manage pipeline of optimizations, both discovered and requested, prioritize and track progress before and after implementation
  • Use analytics and tracking to develop deep consumer, campaign, and category understanding with every optimization
Data Pipeline & Roadmap

  • Lead and build data projects for the region that leverages on existing tools and deliver datadriven insights to highpriority data problems
  • Drive business intelligence roadmap for APAC, prioritize analysis requests to balance tactical and strategic information needs for the region and local markets
Stakeholder Management

  • Ensure alignment of key reporting metrics across dashboards for senior management
  • Present periodic analyses and recommendations in strategic reviews to stakeholders and senior leaders using datadriven storytelling to drive improvements in the business operations
  • Work with local site merchandisers and channel owners to implement global initiatives (e.g. Fit and Flex)
  • Collaborate with regional functional leads (e.g. CoE and Marketing) for projects monitoring and tracking of optimization opportunities
Training & Elevating

  • Develop robust documentation and trading of data processes, standards, best practices and guidelines for the business insights and analytics team
  • Build and develop team of data and business intelligence analysts for regional and local needs
  • Onboard and establish regional training for all RACE team members as a foundation
  • Identify and build RACE team to support analytics function, ecommerce trading at the regional and local markets and/or functional level
  • Create and manage ongoing cadence of reporting and accountability of local RACE team members to the region and their local teams

About You:


  • Min. 8 years of experience in the data analytics and insights space, ideally in the consumer product space
  • Experienced with tools such as Google Analytics, Data Studio, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Decibel
  • The ability to distil data into simple themes that are appropriate for senior and/or nontechnical stakeholders
  • Understanding of Digital Analytics and performance metrics, able to identify trend and distil insights to enhance site performance
