JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

Maintain the plants in the school eco-garden:

1. Sowing the seeds
2. Pruning
3. Weeding
4. Fertilizing
5. Watering the plants
6. Labeling the plants
7. Trimming the grass

• Work closely with Head of Department and Level Head Science in matters pertaining to the garden maintenance.
• Ensuring of sufficient resources of materials (e.g. fertilizer, soil) and informing HOD for any completed purchases.
• Prepare plants and resources for lessons.
• Assist in preparation of the garden for competitions / school visits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years' experience as a Gardener
• Prior working experience in school environments is preferred
• Must have good knowledge of different plant species and their maintenance needs.
• Singaporean Only

ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Working hours and days: Between Monday to Friday, school operating hours can vary. To specify working hours upon job recommendation. Do take note school operating hours can start as early as 630am/7am onwards.
• Date of commencement: Jan 2024
• Working locations: to be specified (tentatively Island wide)
