Overview
**Job Description: Paralegal (Chinese Language Proficiency) - Singapore Law

Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulations, in both English and Chinese languages, with a focus on Singapore law.
Review and summarize legal documents, correspondence, and records, extracting relevant information.
Communicate effectively with clients and team in both English and Chinese, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange.
Translate legal documents, contracts, and correspondence between English and Chinese languages.
Maintain and update legal files and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with recordkeeping protocols.
Assist with basic drafting of legal documents under attorney supervision.
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.
Participate in training programs provided to enhance legal research, drafting, and document formatting skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in law, legal studies, or a related field. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Fluency in English and Chinese, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Strong interest in Singapore law, Crypto, Web3, Meta and willingness to learn and adapt to the local legal system.
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, evaluate, and summarize complex legal information from various sources.
Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation, review, and formatting.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, for document formatting.
Professional demeanour, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information

Preferred Requirements.

Internship or prior work experience in a law firm or legal environment.
Familiarity with Singapore legal systems and procedures.
