Job Requirements:

Contract: 12 months with a 12 month option

Eligibility
:
Australian Citizens who hold an AGSVA
Baseline or higher security clearance.

Location:
Canberra, Brisbane or remote - hybrid/WFH in each location


The role:


As a UI/UX Designer you will be critical in improving the experience for users of the systems built and supported by the Business Systems Branch.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team working with agile methodologies to:


  • Independently tackle ambiguous problems from start to finish using robust design processes
  • Contribute to the information architecture, interaction models and UX patterns in an evolving product

Experience needed:


  • Adobe XD, Figma or equivalent tools
  • Testing of prototypes with users and capturing insights
  • Understanding of accessible design principles
  • WCAG guidelines, including AA Compliance
  • Designing information architecture
  • Arranging functionality into logical & intuitive structures
