As an IT Engineer, you shall be responsible for project coordination and management of Global Business Projects and IT strategic processes.

From time to time, involvement in operational system, hardware and software upgrading is required.

On a regular and active basis, this person shall be able to work on different onsite company offices, the work environment is fast-paced, tight project deadlines are to be met and to succeed; both team and individual contribution is expected as a domain focus in Singapore and regionally across Asia.

The company provides services to various industries covering aerospace, digital systems and infrastructure, IT security and or customer support solutions.

This key personnel will also be supporting all B2B or B2C client relationships and group policy trust management.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain regular backup and restore operations to all infrastructure services across the regions.
Maintain optimal system performance and system capacity planning.
Create and maintain standard operating procedure documents for infrastructure services.
Participate in planning and execution of IT Disaster Recovery Plan (IT DRP)
Work with different teams and vendor to deliver timely completion of assigned projects.

Job Scope & Main Duties:

Daily support and operation of all servers, virtualization, services and associated software products.
Manage and
Deployment of security fixes on Infrastructure services in accordance to Corporate Vulnerability and Patch Management policy
Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve critical system incidents that deals with infrastructure operations.
Keep Infrastructure operational and meet the agreed servicelevel.
Overseeing operational health of Infrastructure services.
Strong experience & knowledge in managing large scale server farms in a physical and VMware environment across different regions.

Qualifications:

Bachelors equivalent and or above in IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 5 years of proven working experience in IT Operations & End-User Support environment
Strong experience & knowledge in endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
Strong experience & knowledge in managing VEEAM and Veritas enterprise backups and data availability.
Strong experience & knowledge in managing Microsoft Windows Server environment including Active Directory, Group Policy, File Sharing, High-Availability Clustering and others.

Good-to-Haves:

Exposure in an ITIL and ISO27001 environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Academic background in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Computer Science or equivalent.
