    What You'll Do:

  • Lead a team of officers in the maintenance of the transmission equipment and cables
  • Plan and schedule maintenance and inspection programme for transmission equipment/cables including testing of protective relays and to carry out switching as and when required
  • Monitor, analyse and interpret maintenance data results and ensures proper record keeping of maintenance data in system and files
  • Prepare contract specifications including calling and evaluation of tender and the execution of switchgear/Transformer maintenance and cable diversion contracts
  • Oversee and monitor progress of emergency repair works on switchgear, transformers, reactors, cables, etc
  • Plan and implement comprehensive condition monitoring and preventive maintenance programme on 400kV and 230kV switchgear, transformers, reactors, cables and their auxiliaries
  • Carry out equipment switching for the maintenance of transmission network equipment and cables including switching for the testing of protective relays
  • Manage strategic spares and sources for parts for, ad-hoc repairs that include calling of tenders or quotations
  • Provide feedback and suggests improvements on network operation and equipment maintenance matters to planning and engineering sections
  • Participate in equipment fault investigations and technical exchanges with experts/professionals in the industry.
  • Attend meeting and liaises with external parties on cable diversion and cable protection matters
  • Attend to 230/400kV alarms and faults during and after office hours
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned
  • What You'll Need:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board Singapore
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • A team player with a positive working attitude and the ability to handle tight deadlines
