Senior Commercial Executive - Singapore - Kuok (Singapore) Limited

Description

This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok Group Singapore.

The role will managekey accounts and handle business proposals and presentations customized for clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage key accounts, prepare business proposals and presentations customised for clients.
Negotiate ship repair contracts andmanage commercial discussions leading to closing off the deals effectively.
Attend technical meetings, handle contractual matters, and estimate project costs.

Identify new market opportunities, gather market intelligence and information from different sources to complement business forecasts.
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including commercial operations and legal teams.

Degree in Engineering or other disciplinesAt least 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in sales or commercial roles and preferably with knowledge and experience with ship repair.

Able to read and understand basic engineering terms and applicable technical and commercial information, including business proposals.
Possess a good understanding of Ship repair market dynamics, customer needs, competition, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.

Familiarity with ship management companies and commercial ship owners' operations is preferred.
Driven with determination and initiative to prospect for new key clients.

Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and interface with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced ship repair environment.

Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Able to travel internationally on short notice.

Able to collaborate seamlessly across boundaries and international culture
