Financial Analyst - Singapore - INNERGY CONSULTING PTE. LTD.

Description

We are looking for an Accountant for one of our ship owner clients. Reporting to the CEO directly, the incumbent will need to have at least 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Operating company accounts on QuickBooks accounting software.
• Responsible for full set of accounts and monthly accounts closing.
• Perform bookkeeping such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and Bank Reconciliation in both QuickBooks and excel schedule.
• Prepare and maintain records of purchases and payments.
• Adhere company mode of payments.
• Prepare financial reports including Income Statement and Balance Sheet according to the FRS and GAAP standards.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to IRAS.
• Liaise with the external auditor, tax agents and company corporate secretary.
• Respond to remittance and other bank queries.
• Reports to the Directors and handles ad-hoc assignments.
• Handling company HR matters and duties such as interviewing potential candidates, managing monthly payroll, monthly CPF submission and yearly employee's income tax submission.
• Handling company administrative matters such as replenish office pantry supplies, stationery supplies and opening company mailbox.

Requirements:

• Minimum a Bachelor's Degree, Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Preferably at least 4 years of relevant working experience, Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and time management.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to Accounting softwares.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
