    [What the role is]

    Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division under EDB that manages a 120,000-strong international community comprising family, friends and fans of Singapore. At SGN, we are passionate about building connections and creating opportunities for both people and businesses. We aim to grow Singapore's overseas networks by building meaningful relationships and communities among Singaporeans, global talent, entrepreneurs, students and partners across the globe.

    [What you will be working on]

    Responsibilities

    You will play an active role in raising awareness and growing Singapore Global Network as a vibrant networking platform and international community for all who share a common interest or connection with Singapore. This includes building the SGN brand, growing its digital channel following, promoting its product offerings, generating new members for the network, and engaging communities through a mix of online and offline initiatives.

    You will also help shape global perceptions of Singapore as an ideal city to live, work and play in. This includes promoting the many aspects of Singapore's culture, people, environment and experiences. You will help create awareness on the exciting career and business opportunities that Singapore has to offer.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Develop and execute channel-specific strategies for growing social media followers and sustaining quality engagements across digital channels. This includes platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, WeChat, Telegram, websites, mobile app, email newsletters and CRM marketing.
    • Work closely with content marketing agency and in-house designers to plan and manage the content editorial calendar, ensuring alignment with broader national narratives. Develop creative and engaging content that speaks to customer needs across the customer journey stages. This includes but is not limited to feature interview stories, listicles, social media content, explainer videos, how-to guides, event coverage etc.
    • Identify relevant opinion leaders, influencers, content creators, brands, media, and content partners who can serve as advocates or partners in co-creating content and developing value offerings for SGN's members.
    • Work with media agency to raise awareness and drive new member acquisition for the network among target audience segments, through paid media channels and digital marketing campaigns.
    • Collaborate across product and regional teams to plan and execute marketing and brand campaigns aimed at promoting opportunities in Singapore and generating leads for talent and entrepreneurs looking to relocate or establish a presence here.
    • Build a consistent and positive SGN brand experience across customer engagement touchpoints. Run digital community engagement initiatives that encourage participation and contribution from the community.
    • Adopt a data and insights-driven approach in tracking and reporting of KPIs across channels. Distil learnings and provide recommendations for optimisation from social listening, marketing analytics and customer surveys.

    Requirements

    • We are looking for a digital native with a fun personality. Someone who is creative, energetic and with a good sense of humour, to bring out the best that Singapore and SGN has to offer.
    • You should be a skilled storyteller who is adept at creating social media content and is comfortable being in front of the camera producing video content.
    • The ideal candidate should have at least 1 - 2 years of digital marketing and content experience, with a deep interest and appreciation of the social media landscape and its latest trends.
    • Strategic thinker with hands-on experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, developing engaging content, and managing social media channels.
    • Comfortable working with video editing tools and digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, WordPress CMS, Salesforce CRM, Marketing Cloud and Meltwater social listening.
    • An independent and self-motivated individual who takes ownership of deliverables and is committed to excellence in execution. Adept at managing priorities, timelines and achieving targets.
    • Collaborative team player with a can-do spirit.
