    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, programmers, suppliers, and stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects focused on green marine systems for marine vessels within defined timelines and budgets.

    2. Together with core technical teams, conduct feasibility studies, evaluate technical requirements, and develop project specifications and scopes of work for green marine system integration projects.

    3. Coordinate and oversee engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project plans, standards, and regulatory requirements.

    4. Together with technical team, review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of green marine system designs and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of green marine system projects.

    6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

    7. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular cost reports to stakeholders.

    8. Coordinate and track procurement activities for green marine system components.

    9. Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services required for green marine system projects.

    10. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor installation and integration activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

    11. Prepare and deliver project progress reports, presentations, and technical documentation to stakeholders and senior management.

    12. Manage delivery of documentations, including but not limited to FAT, HAT, SAT, operational and maintenance manuals.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    2. Proven experience as a Project Engineer, Marine Superintendent or similar role in the marine, shipbuilding or relevant industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering engineering projects.

    3. Knowledge of marine vessels systems, including electric motors, generators, batteries, power management systems, and control systems is an advantage.

    4. Familiarity with marine vessel propulsion systems, including diesel engines, gas turbines, and electric propulsion technologies.

    5. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management software.

    6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

    7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

    8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    9. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.

    10. Knowledge of procurement processes and experience in managing supplier relationships.

    11. Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices, and ship classification society requirements for marine vessels.

    12. Ability to travel to project sites and work in outdoor or shipyard environments as needed.
