Job Description:


  • Assist in development, verification and validation for new methods developed
  • Perform testing of samples and preparation of standards for GCMS instrument, interpretation of results and entry of results in the LIMS or reports
  • Perform testing of samples received by water laboratory & prepare test report when requried
  • Assist in the maintenance, calibraiton of GCMS and analytical instrumentation
  • Ensure tests performed and documentation is in accordance with ISO 17025 requirements
  • Inform QA coordinator when reagents/standards is due for expiry and/or requires replenishment

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Analytical chemistry or related discipline preferred
  • Added advantage of prior experience in GC/MS for Crude oil, Biodiesel, Middle distillate, Gasoline, Residual fuel, Used lube oil.
  • Understanding of laboratories QA/QC procedure.
