Science Centre Singapore is dedicated to the promotion of interest, learning and creativity in science & technology through imaginative and enjoyable experiences, and to contribute to the nation's development of its human resource.

We are looking for a dynamic member to join us as Associate, Business Development (Membership).

The Associate, Business Development (Membership) is responsible for the following:

  • Generate revenue through promoting, selling membership schemes (Annual Pass, corporate membership, associate membership) and retaining members to enable the Centre to meet its objective. Increase revenue by implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to understand customer demand, segmentations, competitors' landscape and develop products offerings.
  • Research sales opportunities and possible leads to exceed sales goals and increase profits. Create sales opportunities and acquire sales accounts by following up on networking interactions and sales leads.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies which include sourcing for promotional partners and developing marketing campaigns and collaterals.
  • Identify corporate clients' needs and recommend suitable membership. Followup to close sales and preparation of proposal. Manage their expectations and requests as well as consolidate customer feedback and market sentiments for relevant products and services enhancements.
  • Oversee overall operations for membership that include process and fulfil sales and data base update, manage communication channels such as replying to members' enquiry, provide timely updates and feedback. Manage the general membership database, CRM (customer relationship management) and ticketing system. Collect data and prepare reports based on analysis and present to management.

Requirements:

interactive and is a team player with good interpersonal skill. Having a customer-oriented mindset with networking ability and negotiation skill is essential for this position.
