DevOps Engineer

This role has been designated as 'Edge', which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

_ Job Family Definition:
_
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products. Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

_ Management Level Definition:
_

_ Responsibilities:
_

Manage, support, and troubleshoot virtualized infrastructure and computer networks
Deploy and manage monitoring tools of infrastructure performance, utilization, and health
Adopt & practise configuration management best practices
Build and maintain automation tools for operation and maintenance
Documenting processes, changes, incidents, and resolutions of the managed infrastructure
Collaborates and communicates with internal and external partners regarding software system/network design status, project progress and issue resolution.

Knowledge and Skills:
_**- Good understanding of computer OS, networking, container platform and virtual machines

Experience in Production deployments and operations
Has good understanding in system architecture
Preferably has experience using automation tools like ansible
Preferably has experience using monitoring and log management tools
Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English
Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.
