Executive Housekeeper - Singapore - PENINSULAIOR HOTEL

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER
Reporting to the General Manager of the hotel, you are expected to organize, supervise, manage and control of the Housekeeping department within guidelines provided by the Management to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, order and appearance of the Hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily room assignment, allocate and prioritize rooms to be cleaned
- Execute the inspection program for all guest rooms to ensure proper maintenance and standards are met and sustained
- Ensure execution of various programmes i.e. extermination of pests and insects control, façade cleaning etc Conduct staff training and retraining on proper maintenance and cleaning of fixture, furniture and equipment, floor, wall and corridor areas.
- Respond to guest requests and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
- Supervise the entire Housekeeping department including public area, Linen secion as well as the lost and found function.
- Work closely with the HR department on manpower planning, recruitment, welfare, staff grievances and disciplinary issues
- Manages staff performance, conduct training and coaching to the staff regularly
Requirements:
- Possess with a Degree/Diploma of any fields
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
- Possess strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills
