About the Role


We are seeking for a finance professional who will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of financial transactions within the organization.

The Associate should have an eye for detail, and be skilled in financial operations and reporting with good communication skills and is comfortable with working in a fast pace and dynamic environment.

S/he will be reporting to the VP, Finance and work alongside with a Senior Associate, Finance.

This role is initially offered as a 12-month contract, with the potential for conversion to a permanent position.


What You Will Do (Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs))

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely record of all financial transactions (including AR/ AP) of the Company and its local subsidiaries postings into the financial accounting system
  • Ensure that the monthly financial close process is conducted in a timely, accurate fashion in compliance with company/ statutory requirements
  • Maintain the financial schedules (e.g. Balance sheet/Profit or Loss/Accruals/Trial Balance) in an accurate and orderly manner
  • Assist in the annual statutory audit process and ensure all schedules are prepared in an accurate and orderly manner
  • Constantly seeking ways to automate and streamline the finance operation process
  • Experience in Oracle is a plus
  • Any other administrative support and/or ad hoc initiatives as deemed necessary

What You Will Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

  • Professional qualifications (including diploma) in accounting/finance
  • 3 to 4 years in Accounting/Financial Reporting
  • Strong communication in both written and oral skills
  • Good excel skills with interest to improve/automate existing templates
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Able to step up to challenges and has an innate professional curiosity
