    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    · Support Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Investigators (Co-Is) in managing the progress of a large-scale Research and Development project, involving multiple public research performers and industry partners, targeted at the global offshore wind industry and other offshore system markets.

    · Engage stakeholders (industry and public) to facilitate the set-up and execution of R&D projects (public grant-funded, industry collaboration, commercial, etc.), as well as to develop future partnerships and collaborations.

    · Facilitate negotiation and establishment of contracts and agreements in support of TCOMS R&D projects and commercial services.

    · Monitor project execution and schedule to ensure timely progress and compliance with allocated budget (in close coordination with Finance) and company?s policies/procedure, track research milestones and timelines, manage knowledge sharing/management system and flow of information, facilitate meetings and generate reports including for the scientific advisory board and other key governing platforms for the R&D project, and support project-related administrative activities such as procurement and conduct of brainstorming and stakeholder engagement workshops.

    · Coordinate and maintain document and records management system for all project-related materials and assist PI and Co-Is in project appraisal and compilation of feedback/lessons learnt.

    · Facilitate or support public communications initiatives that promote TCOMS? work.

    · Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Requirements:

    · A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or other related disciplines.

    · Preferably minimum 3 years of relevant research/industry experience with competent knowledge in some of the following areas:

    a) Offshore engineering, marine engineering, hydrodynamics, naval architecture and ocean engineering, systems engineering.

    b) Project management/productivity software/tools such as MS Office, MS Project.

    · Preferably have prior background to the domain field/expertise in the Marine and Offshore industry and have interests on the latest technology developments in the industry, such as but not limited to offshore wind and other ocean renewables.

    Other Requirements:

    · Good interpersonal and communications skills.

    · Good organization and interface management skills.

    · Ability to adapt and work effectively as team player.

    · Resourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional integrity.
