The System Solutions Manager reports to Group Chief Commercial & Operating Officer - Long Term Position - Top Niche Specialised Technology Integrator focused on Mission Critical Markets in Indonesia with close relationships with top US/European/Asian technology OEM's - US$XXXM annually - 20th Floor Samsung Hub - High Class 7* Office Environment
The System Solutions Manager role will form part of the Commercial & Operations team to design and deliver complex mission critical solutions & systems.
The System Solutions Manager will work in the pre-sales & post sales phases of projects and may support multiple projects in parallel depending on size and complexity, analysing Bid technical requirements and designing solutions for Bids for the overseas Sales & Customer facing teams.
Job Description - Working closely with Overseas Sales/Customer Facing teams as well as System Solutions, Finance & Purchase teams
- Understand Bid technical requirements for each Project and review specifications
- Identify suitable products/solutions complying to the technical requirements of the Bid
- Able to identify new products & work with OEM's to design right solutions
- Handle and manage Government tenders
- Perform detailed design to refine and develop telecom/ICT system solutions and services which satisfy the requirements of the customer
- Able to understand diverse and complex networks/products, integrate into a solutions and present overall solution & advantages to Customers
- Coordinating formal technical proposals from Suppliers meeting Bid requirements including comparisons of overall proposals & finalise configurations for commercial proposal submission
- Prepare compliance statements and technical presentations on the overall solution for each Bid
- Create equipment lists and documentation for each of the solutions and comparisons for different possible products/solutions meeting the Bid requirements
- Prepare product decks, comparisons, competitive comparisons for best choice of products & build presentation decks & equipment lists
- Undertake presentations of technical solutions and services to customers and management
- Meet with tech teams of OEM's and build integrity relationships
- Any other adhoc duties
- Bachelors in Electronics/Communication Engineering/Information Systems/Computer Science/IT or related discipline
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Systems, IT, Computer Science, Product & Engineering functions
- Experience in the technology field covering Telecom, IT, AI/ML & Airborne solutions is preferred
- Experience in handling Government tenders and projects is preferred
- Regional exposure and experience with APAC is a must
- Past Stable positions in Technology SI's & MNC's serving Government Customers
- Experience in working with Customers in Indonesia
- Tools/Technologies: Knowledge in Work, Power Point, Excel, Projects
- Can handle C Level relationships with integrity and respect
- Takes initiative and works independently, being detailed, able to multi task, be proactive
- Good oral communication & presentation skills
- Experience coordinating groups remotely & high integrity
- Independently and concurrently manage multiple technical needs with tight deadlines and adapt to constant changes & revisions in bid requirements
- Ability to Travel when needed
- Proficiency in Indonesia Bahasa an advantage
