We invite highly motivated, dynamic professionals to join our growing financial services consulting practice in Singapore to expand their financial services industry knowledge and skills.


The KPMG financial services advisory team assists banks and capital market sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments.

We support our financial services clients on multiple diverse consulting projects that include:


  • Business growth (e.g. market entry, customer insights, merger and acquisitions support)
  • Operational process improvements across the banking value chain
  • Organisationwide functional (re)design
  • Change management and project management
  • Digital and technology enablement
  • Programme management support
We are looking for an energetic, results orientated strategic client Account Manager with relevant experience. The Account Manager will develop, manage and support the Line Partners in key accounts within the financial services industry.

You will be playing a crucial role in helping to drive the business forward and will be part of a dynamic team culture offering collaborative internal networks and support.


The following key account activities include:

  • Establishing a good working relationship with Line Partners and client facing team where appropriate in cascading any trends or key insights
  • Supporting the account plan, ensuring disciplined outcomes, pipeline management and pursuit conversion
  • Supporting the teams to help originate opportunity pipeline through understanding client imperatives and marketing initiatives
  • Supporting the building of key client relationships, including the development of client stakeholder mapping and client contact lists and activities to drive more meetings
  • Understanding financial services solutions, thought leadership to determine which programs, events and initiatives would be relevant to the key clients
  • Defining key focus / sector trends / fields of play for these clients that can help drive replication of our offers and solutions in the account
  • Undertaking capability gap assessments and competitor analysis to bring new ideas and service offerings to the practice to improve growth
  • Ensuring all sales activities are consistent with KPMG account plan sales process, client service meetings, client service reviews, qualification framework etc.
  • Partnering closely with global team to ensure alignment in business development activities
  • Working with Marketing to ensure effective digital marketing and social media activities are adopted
  • Minimally a Tertiary degree or equivalent (preferably in a finance, accounting, business, marketing, or information technology discipline)
  • At least 5 years of experience working with all levels of management and client servicing to assess business needs
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage team meetings, supporting accounts and pursuit strategies
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills and being able to anticipate needs of the account team / client
  • Demonstrates a drive and passion for sales, seeks to build effective collaborative relationships with customer that deliver positive results
