**The Role
You are the face of our company and represent us in the community.

Key Responsibilities _(to include but not limited to) _**:


Currency Exchange Transactions:


  • Receive and count cash and foreign currencies accurately
  • Verify the authenticity of banknotes and detect counterfeit currency
  • Calculate and provide customers with the appropriate amount of foreign currency based on current exchange rates
  • Process transactions efficiently, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded properly

Compliance and Security:


  • Follow legal and regulatory guidelines related to currency exchange transactions, including antimoney laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
  • Report any suspicious or fraudulent activities to the appropriate authorities
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and ensure data protection
  • Adhere to security procedures to safeguard cash and maintain a secure working environment.

Administrative Tasks:


  • Prepare daily reports, reconcile cash balances, and complete required documentation accurately
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, recordkeeping, and maintaining transaction records
  • Stay updated on exchange rate fluctuations and market trends

Others:


  • Ability to single handedly manage the store, including opening and closing
  • High level of integrity
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalised service.

Working hours:


  • 6 days workweek
  • Retail operating hours
