    The Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) team in PwC advises a broad range of clients on all aspects of international trade and the cross-border movement of products. We are looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant for the period from 02 May to 24 September 2024, to support our consulting team in Singapore as well as perform consolidation of reports from our regional teams across Asia.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the Singapore team of consultants; liaising and assisting client-facing team members on finance, billings and WIP matters and addressing ad-hoc queries from regional teams
  • Keeping a full set of accounts for WMS Holdings entity using Oracle
  • Management reporting – monthly consolidation of regional creditor, cash flow, staff utilisation, reports
  • Inter-territories balances reconciliation
  • Sending of monthly statement of accounts to related parties
  • Communicate and liaise findings and queries with regional offices' outsourced accountants
  • Prepare service fee recharges and agreements
  • Supplier invoices - checking and accrual
  • Payments – checking and preparing 1-2 times a month
  • Preparation of GST workings quarterly for GST filing
  • Monitoring of cash balance in bank accounts
  • Receipts - match receipts and informing project managers
  • Liaise with bankers
  • Any other ad hoc support
  • Requirements:

  • Diploma In Accountancy from a reputable institution
  • Experience in using MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in Oracle
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Self-starter, able to work independently
  • Good team working spirit and supportive attitude; willing to take on ad-hoc requests
