Responsibilities:

Oracle Performance Tuning and troubleshooting
Establish and implement processes/automation which ensures repetitive tasks are taken care of by automation process Ansible etc
Ensure compliance with operational / change management guidelines.
Preparation of productive deployments for DB packages, support of Operations during the release weekend
Be part of the leadership team to provide skilled opinions, design solutions and implement automation solutions
Drive excellence and challenge the status quo by speaking up and communicating well both orally and written and with all stakeholders
Collaborate with your team members across locations to drive delivery
Share knowledge and experience fellow team members

Skills:

Must have

8+ years of experience
Strong experience in PostgreSQL 11,1
Senior Oracle DBA, certified Oracle Database Developer, grade professional or Expert
Experience with platform migrations
Knowledge of Golden Gate

Nice to have

Inquisitive personality with the ability to convey technical ideas and concepts to all audiences as well as the confidence to challenge effectively
Excellent verbal and written communicator with attention to detail and a flair for complete yet concise documentation
Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies and solution delivery lifecycle.
Highly committed, selfreliant contributor with a positive attitude, high ambitions and an interest in the future of Finance Technology
