Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to identify vision defects, diseases, injuries, or abnormalities.
- Maintain, calibrate, and sterilize equipment and measuring tools used in examinations.
- Provide professional advice and recommendations on optical aids based on patients' needs and findings.
- Explain examination results to patients and offer advice and reassurance on visionrelated matters.
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution (e.g., Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic).
- Eligible for full registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
- Experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Working location: Various outlets across Singapore (13 outlets).
- Working hours: 5 working days per week, 11am 9pm with the exception of a few outlets (no fixed off day).
