Roles & Responsibilities

Able to understand business requirements, design schemas, and implement them.
Proficient at managing stakeholders and collaborate with cross functional teams
Integrate data from various business functions such as operations, finance, IOT, sales and regional.
Able to represent the data innovation team strategies and reviews with other teams and customers.
Work with the data teams to develop & maintain scalable, reliable and testdriven data pipelines to collate and store data from multiple sources. This data will serve as the single source of truth for all analytical and engineering needs generating analytic reports, decision making, data science etc.
Develop and promote org wide data definition layer consisting of data dictionaries, data stewards, data owners and establish a complete metadata management specification and index system.
Build data quality system and complete data monitoring/verification process and root cause analysis of data issues.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements and tools to automate data processing and ensure data integrity while meeting data security standards
Sort out the company's data assets and establish the value of data services in product building.
Build tools for better discovery and consumption of data for various consumption models in the organization
Data marts, data warehouses, APIs, ad hoc data explorations
Promote good data governance practices and security initiatives.
Develop and maintain cloud data platforms.
Keep up to date with available relevant new technologies, to solve business problems.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
35 years of experience in Data Engineering with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
Experience in programming knowledge like Python/Java & SQL.
Experience working with structured (RDBMS) data, semi structured (JSON/ XML), REST/SOAP API, Kafka, hive etc.
Experience in data collect and transformation development with ETL/ELT tools like Talend,
Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
Experience with Azure technologies like Azure synapse, Azure functions, Azure IoT, Azure
API management, Azure Purview and Azure Stream Analytics.
A good knowledge on software lifecycle and Azure dev ops/ GitHub.
Microsoft/ Talend certification is a plus.
Attention to details, a selfstarter and selflearner continuously keeping up to date with industry developments
Good communication and presentation skills
