Job Summary

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a wide range of state-of-the-art products for the global markets, from conceptualization to mass production and eventually seeing the products in the market.

Responsibilities:

Perform conceptual and detailed design of mechanical parts and modules, electromechanical subsystems, micromechanisms and/or transmission systems.
Perform FEA/CFD simulation to validate design margin, tolerance analysis, FMEA and PFMEA, as required.
Utilize DFSS tool to optimize design for manufacturing.
Conduct impact analysis to achieve optimized design solution to meet design specification, project schedule and cost target.
Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customer.
Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications.
Author of specifications, requirements and validation plans for design module assigned.
Work with the Manufacturing team and part suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fastpaced environment.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

Requirements:

Masters/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in product design and mechanisms, and product industrialization is preferred.
Working Knowledge and experience in plastic, sheetmetal, machined, Extrusion and silicone rubber parts will be advantageous.
Good team player with strong passion for product design.
Proficient in CAD tools like Solidworks and other simulation tools.
Familiar in GD&T and tolerance stackup analysis.
Experience in packaging design is an added advantage.
Experience in medical product compliance standard such as ISO13485, is an added advantage.
Simulation tools & programing skills (eg. Python) is added advantage.
Overseas travel may be required.
