They are the Trade Facilitators, Trade Regulators and Law Enforcers. What you will be working on

  • Responsibilities

As a Management Executive in the HR Directorate, you will be responsible for the effective implementation of HR policies and practices that contributes towards assuring Singapore Customs an Employer of Choice.

The HR Directorate comprises HR Planning Branch, HR Management Branch, HR Development Branch and Learning & Organisation Development Branch.

The job of a Management Executive (HR) may entail, but not limited to, the following duties:
i) Developing and continually refreshing Singapore Customs' strategic workforce plans to ensure that the department has the right mix of talent and competencies, the right organisation structure and the right employment model.
ii) Review Customs-specific competency frameworks to provide clarity on the core and functional skills and knowledge required for the jobs.
iii) Explore the use of technologies to improve and digitalise HR internal processes and support HR decisions through greater use of HR analytics.
iv) Attracting, recruiting, developing, engaging and retaining talent.

What we are looking for

  • Possess experience and knowledge in HRrelated fields
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong foundation in MS Access/Excel/Tableau/PowerBI and other related software used for HR data analytics and reporting
  • Familiarity with HRPS and ODIN will be an advantage
