Roles and Responsibilities
-
Legal Opinion (New and Renewal)
Engage with country legal to obtain new legal opinion for countries that will require access to Singapore data, monitor the currency legal opinion and re-engage country legal in renewing these legal opinions.
Local Country Addenda (LCA) reviews
Engage with country/regional legal to review country required clauses that needs to be incorporated into LCA based on the scope of outsourcing engagement with the supplier, report progress to management, and engage legal, sourcing and business activity owners for execution of LCAs.
Regulatory Letter
For new CSCs (Citi Solutions Center), engage with ICRM of both service provider (SP) and service recipient (SR) country to obtain regulatory letter allowing audit by SP-regulator by SR's regulator or appointee.
Outsourcing and insourcing inventory
Maintain the inventory for CTI AP Singapore and support Asia Pacific countries to support local detail requirement needed in the country inventory.
Outsourcing requirements
Understand and support outsourcing requirements from SR countries coming from regulatory change, internal assessments, and/or audits.

Cross Border
Support the program by monitoring action item status and publishing regular reports to management within APAC highlighting important / long-standing deliverables impacting clearances.
ADR Review
Partner with Country Affiliate Governance in reviewing the correctness of the ADR content for Asia CSC Network and external third-party list based on approved outsourcing clearances.
Annual Due Diligence (ADD) Performance and Support
Work with Risk Management, Country Affiliate Governance, and CTI operations team in the performance of ADD for Citibank N.A Singapore.
Qualifications:
- Minimum BS/BA degree. Advanced degree or a law (LLB) degree is a plus
- Demonstrates knowledge of inscope business and product areas
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management. Local language requirements as applicable.
- Experience in strategic sourcing/procurement and interacting with suppliers' management teams with the ability to exercise sound, timely and independent judgment.
- Demonstrates understanding of operational capabilities of suppliers across applicable business types
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deliverables while working with mínimal supervision in a large, global corporate environment
- Outstanding people skills and able to work well across the organization, good interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude and take ownership in the roles and projects.
- Working closely with other control functions (Compliance, Supervisory Management and Risk), as well as external service providers.
- Strong academic background
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of word processing and other software as needed
- Ability to follow through on assignments
- Good judgment
