    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1.1. Set department objectives and targets to support the achievement of company goals and objectives.

    1.2. Responsible for ensuring that overall plant facility and equipment are well maintained and in good working condition. This covers production machineries, building safety, electrical distribution system, air conditioning, lighting, piping, compressors and scrubbers, sewage and WWTP systems.

    1.3. To organize and lead workshop safety and health committee meeting

    1.4. To lead in 5S implementation in the factory

    1.5. Plan and ensure that preventive maintenance for facilities and equipment are carried out as scheduled.

    1.6. Oversee jobs and projects related to facilities, equipment and machine maintenance from planning, installation to completion and use including obtaining the required permits and approvals in carrying out the activities.

    1.7. Ensure compliance of the plant and activities to applicable legislation on safety, environment and health.

    1.8. To liaise with government agencies regarding water, electricity, discharge of trade affluent matters and submission of accident reports, water efficiency management reports (WEMP) to respective agencies

    1.9. Develop contingency plans for utility interruptions to ensure uninterrupted facility services to operations.

    1.10. Coordinate and troubleshoot facility, equipment and machine related problems with sense of urgency.

    1.11. Monitor and improve performance/efficiency of equipment.

    1.12. Manage and control equipment spare parts inventories to optimum level.

    1.10. Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the superior.

    1.11. To identify training needs and development for staff under his care

    Qualification:

    Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

    Job Requirements:

    Minimum 5 years working experience, preferably in a manufacturing industry.

    Good maintenance planning skill and sense of urgency

    Knowledge in plant utilities supply system

    Familiar with Environmental Pollution Act, Safety and MOM requirements

    Reporting Level:

    Senior Manager / Head of Production
