Summary:

To be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of designated fleet of vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:

• Fleet Maintenance:

Maintain the upkeep of a fleet of vehicles.

(E.g., SCDF Command Vehicles, Next-generation Fast Response Car (FRC), Tactical Vehicle (TAV), general-purpose cars, protected public order carriers, motorcycles, armed response cars, pursuit cars, prisoner transport vans, transfer of plant and equipment )

• Providing reports/presentations to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress
• Maintaining end-to-end accountability for customer satisfaction and overall delivery excellence within specific service level agreement.
• Inventory Management: Understanding the pipeline of demand and work with the Resource Planners to ensure an appropriate supply of resources and spare equipment
• Procurement: Source and Issue PO to vendor for vehicle repair work.
• Coordinating the efforts of internal/external stakeholders and Service Providers to support the fleet maintenance process.

Knowledge and Other Requirements:

• A diploma in Mechanical Engineering and/or a related degree; or equivalent work experience
• Good understanding of engineering and maintenance practices, parts supply, and support strategies within a fleet service environment
• Understanding of significant legislative and Regulatory constraints e.g. Motor Vehicle Type Approval Regulations, Provision and Use of Work Equipment, Health & Safety etc.
• Experience managing external vendors, commercial negotiations
• Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
• Possess a driving license
• Ability to manage risk and encourage strategic risk management-based delivery in others to manage expectations and communicate effectively.
• Preferably with 2 years' experience in heavy vehicle Preventive and Corrective Maintenance
• Preferably with 2 years' experience in commercial vehicle fleet management.
• Basic network/infra knowledge (E.g., switches, routers, firewalls, certificate renewal) required.
• Singaporean (Requirement for MHA clearance)
• Class 3/3A driving license
• Physically fit

• Working hours: 08:30AM – 06:00PM
• Number of Working days per week: 5 (Mon-Fri)
• Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Level of security clearance required: Cat 2 (MHA)
• Standby/recall duties (required)
