Description

The Network Engineer plays a pivotal role in defining the overarching technology strategy and ensuring the delivery of top-tier services within a collaborative IT environment.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Extensive experience in network security technology architecture, deployment, and operation.
• Proficiency in planning, implementing, and maintaining Azure networking solutions.
• Hands-on experience managing network equipment such as firewalls, switches, routers, WAN optimizers, WAF, etc.
• Expertise in implementing and managing network solutions & products from various vendors.
• Proficient in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting networking technologies including Layer 2 and 3 Switching and Routing, MPLS, VPN, VLAN, SD-WAN/SASE, WAP, Firewalls management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Network Management Systems (NMS) tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement networking environments, directing system installations, and enforcing system design standards.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and schedule upgrades in collaboration with network architects.
• Establish and enforce network security policies, monitoring access and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Manage minor software releases and upgrades, ensuring the stability and security of network devices.
• Develop and oversee vulnerability and patch management processes, maintaining operational efficiency.
• Design, develop, and optimize LAN/WAN across multiple regional offices.
• Oversee vendors and telcos to deliver critical network security and infrastructure projects globally.
• Analyze and resolve network-related issues promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Networking, including 3 years of Windows environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• CCNP or CCDP; and Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer (Associate) is required.
• CISSP or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is advantageous.
• Familiarity with VMWare/Hyper-V/Kubernetes/Docker is a plus.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity, ITIL, and ISO27001 processes.
