    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Planning and Coordination: Developing and implementing logistics strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective transportation and distribution of goods.
    2. Supply Chain Management: Overseeing and optimizing the supply chain process from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
    3. Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and implementing strategies to minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
    4. Transportation Management: Coordinating transportation activities, including selecting carriers, negotiating contracts, and managing transportation routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
    5. Warehouse Management: Supervising warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
    6. Vendor Management: Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating terms and agreements, and monitoring performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.
    7. Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure products meet quality standards throughout the logistics process, including inspection, testing, and documentation.
    8. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks and disruptions in the supply chain, such as delays, shortages, or damages, and developing contingency plans to minimize impact.
    9. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing logistics data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, track key performance indicators, and prepare reports for management review.
    10. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing logistics operations, such as customs regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
    11. Team Leadership and Development: Leading and motivating a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance and achieve organizational goals.
    12. Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains, and implementing initiatives to optimize logistics operations over time.
