- Develop hardware for switched-mode power supplies and battery chargers.
- Perform topology selection, circuit design, component selection, and power loss calculations based on customer specifications.
- Design schematic and PCB layout based on product design.
- Craft test and verification plan to ensure product design can comply with customer requirements.
- Ensure the product can meet safety and certification requirements.
- Resolve issues with design promptly based on customer and internal feedback.
- Liaise with multiple parties – customer, factory, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of product.
- Good communication skills to ensure effective collaboration within a diverse team.
- All experience levels are welcome – job grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of power electronics topologies and design – flyback, boost PFC, LLC, PSFB
- Experienced in designing CC/CV charger systems.
- Worked on power supplies with power levels >500W.
- Working experience in schematic design and PCB layout software, e.g. OrCAD, PADS, or other equivalent software
- Familiar with simulation tools, e.g. LTspice, PSIM, or other equivalent software
- Acquainted with test equipment such as AC/DC source, electronic load, oscilloscope, and soldering iron.
- The following skillsets are not necessary but will be an added advantage:
- Experience in volume manufacturing.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with HQ.
