    Market Research Analyst - Agriculture

    Our Agriculture Commodities desk in Singapore is looking to add a Market Research Analyst to the team. This role will be tasked with understanding regional markets, projecting forward supply and demand balances, and interacting with other team members to generate trade concepts. DRW is focused on creating market advantage through data. As such, this role will is expected to work with and present data to traders to quantify market fundamentals and trading concepts.

    Responsibilities:

  • Maintain monthly S&D for wheat/corn/soybeansProject global supply across major originsProject global demand among major destinationsCreate a trade flow matrix
  • Project trade flow along with changes based on cash values.
  • Follow the various cash, basis, futures markets and weather and highlight any major changes.
  • Work on price models to project fair value of various price and relative value spreads.
  • Construct scenario analysis on the S&D
  • Experience in building and managing a dashboard and organizing fundamental data.
  • Do bespoke analysis and engage with trading teams
  • Do a weekly call or presentations on key factors this week

    • Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in the global agricultural commodities market with a focus on wheat, corn and soybean products
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing sophisticated models and tools for analysis of fundamental data
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing trading strategies
  • Excellent communication skills
