With increasing age and accompanying burden from non-communicable chronic diseases, the increasing impact imposed by frailty on healthcare systems, is anticipated as the aging population experiences a cascade of decline from robustness through to pre-frailty, frailty and disability.


  • The 'Targeting osteosarcopaenia and multimorbidity for frailty prevention though identification and deep phenotyping methods in healthy aging and highburden diseases cohorts' (OPTIMA-C) programme is a multidisciplinary collaboration to identify, phenotype, risk stratify and intervene in the atrisk population, using multicontinuum aims to shift the frailty curve to the left and avert the downstream deleterious consequences of frailty.
  • The programme is a multicentre and multidisciplinary effort bringing together research talents from Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) [TTSH Rehabilitation Centre and Centre of Rehabilitation Excellence (CORE); NHG Polyclinics (NHGP) and Institute of Geriatric Active Aging (IGA); the Departments of Endocrinology and Orthopaedics]; and in close partnerships with sister institutes from Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS) and Lee Chong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine.
    The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Executive/Executive, who will be spear heading the (OPTIMA-C) programme.

The over-arching mission of this programme is to detect and intervene early in the frailty continuum and shift the curve to the left.


  • The Senior Executive/Executive will be the Project Manager of the programme. He/she is resourceful and adept in understanding the needs of the research team, and facilitates the journey to ensure the successful completion of the programme, and, by extension, create value to the population we serve.
  • The role requires the following:
  • To provide administrative and operational support to all activities related to the OPTIMA-C research programme.
  • To work with respective assigned programme leader(s) to ensure that the work is proceeding well and on time.
  • To be responsible for budget management, progress of projects, and personnel management under his or her charge and report in the project charter.

Requirements:


  • Graduate qualifications in nursing, science, business or project management
  • Familiarity with programme/project management tools and/or software packages. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
  • Have a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Clinical Research, Clinical Trial process and related regulatory
  • Equip with strategic, operational and management skills
  • Familiar with Medical and Research Ethics requirements and terminology
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Able to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in the environment and priorities
  • Able to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments
  • Experience in managing complex programmes and projects
  • Preferably with 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in project management
