SOFTWARE DIRECTOR (Control Software / R&D Director/ Technical/ Engineering/ Semiconductor Equipment Automation)

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing Semiconductor machines.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Software Engineers in the design and development of real-time software and automation control systems of semiconductor equipment.
• Develop and implement software methodology, documentation/library system and tools to support software sustaining and new development projects.
• Define software architecture and procedures as standard best practices for all design, coding, testing and deployment activities.
• Spearhead the research, development and deployment of new-generation software engineering technologies.
• Extend technical support to various engineering functional groups in debugging and problem solving critical field issues

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or its equivalent
• More than 10 years in a managerial capacity overseeing software development and automation control in a related industry
• Experienced in programming on Windows (XP and above) environment.
• Highly versatile in C/C++, MFC, SQL and OOP.
• Good knowledge in developing multi-threaded control software, SEMI SECS/ GEM equipment connectivity standard and Software Development Life Cycle.
• Hardware experience in using Servo, Stepper Motion Controller, Analog Device and High Speed I/O.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent team player
