    Roles & Responsibilities

    Position Overview: As a Project Engineer at Wholetech System Hitech (S) Pte Ltd, you will play a key role in managing and executing semiconductor plant projects, piping installations, and construction management activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning and Management:

    • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution for semiconductor plant projects and piping works.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

    2. Technical Expertise:

    • Apply expertise in semiconductor plant construction and piping systems to ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve design specifications, ensuring they meet client requirements and safety standards

    3. Construction Management:

    • Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.
    • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to maintain project schedules and budgets.

    4. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement quality control measures to ensure that all project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
    • Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

    5. Communication and Collaboration:

    • Foster effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams.
    • Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients.

    6. Budget and Cost Control:

    • Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Assist in preparing cost estimates and proposals for new projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
    • Building Construction Supervisor Course (BCSS) will be preferred. Training can be arranged to those necessary. Any other WSH related course will be added advantage.
    • Minimum of 1 - 3 years of experience in semiconductor plant construction, piping works, and construction management. Entry level is welcome.
    • Proficiency in project management knowledge and application.
    • Strong knowledge of semiconductor industry standards and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
