Location:

Singapore, Singapore

Summary:

Newly created headcount within the finance team. You will be guided to cover Singapore and regional entities with the job scope below.

THE ROLE:

Singapore entity

Be involved in monthend management accounts preparation and submission (accruals, prepayments, lease accounting and fixed assets) to Head Office
Prepare and submit direct and indirect taxes applicable to the business such as GST and corporate income tax.
Oversight of year end audit and annual financial statements.
Prepare annual overhead budget.
Liaise with banks to provide financial information and be first point of contact for any follow up questions.
Onboard the local entity onto Group systems, such as AR/AP.
Support in the design and implementation of new processes and procedures to ensure the most efficient practices are being utilised.
Provide adhoc support to the regional Head of Finance
Regional entities
Support in establishing a regional treasury function to meet payment processing demands.
Support in onboarding systems regionally to align local processes with Group requirements.
Assist in the production of monthly regional reporting packs to be distributed globally.
Liaise with regional Accountants to ensure continued smooth running of daily operations

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Strong interest in the commodities industry.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Power BI and manipulation of large data sets
