Responsibilities

  • Maintain/set up PC, printer and ITrelated hardware/software for existing vessel or new build vessel.
  • Staging PCs and IT equipment for new build or existing vessels.
  • Troubleshoot any hardware/software issues reported by the vessel onboard ship.
  • Maintain/design ship local area network.
  • Set up and support satellite communication equipment such as Maritime broadband services.
  • To maintain and upkeep IT hardware/software inventory.
  • Extensive travelling will be required.
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:


  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
  • Understanding of LAN setup.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Set up and support Satellite communication equipment such as Maritime broadband services.
  • Travelling required.
