    Job Description

    • Lead engineering team on various work streams including operations of systems and production
    • Ensure the team adheres to strict timelines set and deliver
    • Lead in generating Step Files and update of all Engineering drawings readily for fabrications base on design requirements
    • Ensure that the mechanical design aligns with functionality and is feasible for manufacturing and installation, encompassing components such as pumps, piping, heat exchangers, and the cooling system
    • Research suitable materials and devices conforming to design guidelines for integration into the system
    • Lead in installing, testing, and validating system modules to confirm Form, Fit, and Function of design components and assemblies
    • Engage actively in team design meetings, contribute to project improvements, and participate in root cause analyses for various projects and developments
    • Maintain and update comprehensive documentation on storage media and servers, ensuring accuracy, security, and current information
    • Complete responsively assigned tasks within the specified timeframe
    • Pioneer R&D efforts
    • Support other tasks as directed by the management

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
    • Candidates with 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
    • Hands-on personality, and able to work on the ground operating/fixing the systems
    • Proficient in creating design drawings using SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software preferred
    • Knowledge in pyrolysis, syngas and biochar (good to have)
    • Comfortable with work location at Tuas area

    Additonal Skill Sets/Attributes

    • Diligent, self-motivated and a collaborative team player
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
    • Open to working in production, specifically for installation and testing tasks
    • Possibility of travel may arise
