    Description

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking an Associate/ Senior Associate finance professional to join the Finance Performance Management team.

    Reporting to the Head of Performance Management, the role's key responsibilities include handling FP&A, closing the books from all revenue items, getting revenue accounting numbers correctly, ensuring deal-related accounting is correctly recognized, engaging the business to be involved in deal discussions, ensuring structures are accounted for correctly, complying with regulatory standards, and handling the budgeting process.

    This role is NOT a traditional FP&A role, but rather, a combination of

    Business FInance & Product Control.


    • Business Partnering and SupportFinance partner to business units, build close partnerships based on effective communication, collaboration and value-based relationships, leveraging interpersonal skillsPartner closely with the business in business planning, provide financial input for decision-making2. Performance Measurement and ReportingPerform month-end financial close for all deal-related P&L itemsTrack and maintain the management reporting framework and performance measurement of business units and the firm, provide in-depth analysis of management P&L to the businessProvide timely performance management information and analysis to the business and managementProvide in-depth analysis of business performance against budget.3. Budgeting and ForecastingSupport the financial planning process (at the business unit and firm-wide level), including budgets, forecasts, capital planning and long-term business plans.4. OthersPrepare presentation materials for Board and Board Sub-committee meetings.
    Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects in support of department or Company's initiatives.


    Knowledge / Experience Required:
    roven experience in Revenue Accounting, Business Finance, and/or Product ControlDegree in Accountancy or Finance, Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualificationAt least 5 years of relevant experience in business finance, performance management or management reporting in major banks or financial institutionsGood working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principlesStrong powerpoint presentation skills and knowledge of financial modellingStrong drive & willingness to work overtime
