    Our client is an established and large SGX company. It has a global presence and is a market leader in its field. There is now an opening for a seasoned IR professional to join the team as a VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications.

    This role will report to senior management at the C level. There will staff management responsibilities covering mainly the Investor Relations function and overseeing the Corporate Communications team.

    You will be performing the following functions:

    Investor Relations Strategy and Execution (key emphasis):

    • Lead the implementation of a robust investor relations strategy and framework. Enhance the firm's standing in the financial community and align it with business strategy to achieve long term business growth
    • Serve as key liaison between Management and the global investment community including banks, analysts, journalists, institutional investors, government agencies, regulatory bodies, individuals and rating agencies
    • Involve in finance communication strategy, including identification of key messages for corporate strategy and all media announcements
    • Drive the planning, drafting and editing of all major external finance communication materials including press releases, designs and printing of annual reports and enhancement of the investor relations section of the company's website
    • Organise an annual investor relations programme and actively participate in such events
    • Assist with the preparation and development of statutory filings including annual reports and shareholders' circulars
    • Assist in the extraction and preparation of analysts' reports and shareholding statistics
    • Keep abreast of SGX Listing Requirements and ensure corporate compliance

    Media Relations

    • Serve as the primary liaison between the media and the Group and act as the firm's key spokesperson
    • Maintain media contacts (international/ local) and establish rapport with media personnel
    • Develop well-crafted responses to media enquiries related to the corporate's data and information
    • Create comprehensive coverage reports including media releases, responses and issues management
    • Provide insights on market activities including media reports/commentaries on the company (including social media coverage of the company, customers and industry developments etc) to the leadership team

    Corporate Communications

    • Uphold corporate branding, identity and positioning across the Group
    • Support and manage the creation of corporate collaterals and materials for internal and external dissemination
    • Conduct research and analytical work covering a wide range of topics covering the economy, industry, governance etc.
    • Plan, manage and oversee corporate events and projects including corporate functions, community events, press conferences, road shows, international exhibitions, launch events and other corporate activities
    • Provide creative, editorial and research support to Management, Commercial/Business/Support units within the Group

    Community Relations

    • Review and recommend corporate philantrophy programmes
    • Issue corporate responses related to sponsorship requests and enquiries
    • Plan, manage and participate in corporate community outreach programmes

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor or Master's degree in finance, Mass Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Studies etc.
    • Minimum 15 years of relevant IR exp, with a track record in performing the IR function with a public listed company.
    • Superb collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional communications and projects
    • Has a good track record of leadership and supervisory experience
    • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a proven C-level writing skills
    • Very strong interpersonal, social and networking skills
    • Hands-on, self-motivated, flexible, resourceful and result-oriented
