Head of IT Security Engineering - Singapore - Pinpoint Asia Infotech Pte. Ltd.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Regional IT Security Engineering team in developing and implementing cutting-edge security solutions to safeguard the bank's IT infrastructure.

Reporting to the Regional CISO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and technical expertise in cybersecurity.


Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT security engineers.
Provide guidance and support to team members in executing security initiatives effectively.
Develop and execute a comprehensive IT security engineering strategy aligned with the bank's overall security objectives.
Identify emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that security solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for the bank's IT systems and networks.
Conduct security reviews and assessments of infrastructure components, applications, and services.
Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for security enhancements.
Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to address security incidents effectively.
Oversee vulnerability management processes, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
Work closely with internal audit teams and external regulators to demonstrate compliance and address audit findings.


Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Proven experience in a leadership role within IT Security Engineering or Cybersecurity.
In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, etc.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
