Responsibilities:


  • Ensure Hafnia is in the forefront on human element activities, benchmarking against best practice from oil majors and shipping industry.
  • Carry out surveys, assessments and collaboration with the office management to identify training needs of seafarers and office staff.
  • Develop and drive learning programs, workshops, elearning modules focusing on leadership at sea and office with a strong focus on diversity, inclusion, belonging & equity (DIBE)
  • Partner with Fleet Teams and affiliate offices to develop, promote and improve the safety culture that delivers Industry leading results to meet company's Zero Harm initiatives.
  • Partner with management and stakeholders to conduct training needs analysis and identify learning needs.
  • Identify collaboration partners to bring bestinclass learning solutions to life.
  • Align with already existing training programmes to optimise the learning program.
  • Provide guidance and support to office staff in driving the learning and development programs for seafarers and the rollout of Ambitious Leadership program.
  • Manage the learning and development budget, including selection of training providers and negotiating contracts.
  • Quality Assurance of local training providers i.e. selection of training providers, audits, review of course feedback.
  • Management of local Cadet Programs.
  • Management and participation in Crew Conferences.
  • Assist to develop, design and review competency development frameworks.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, performance metrics and feedback mechanisms.
  • Responsible for systems, tools and programs related to Hafnia's Behavioral Competence Framework, i.e. Recruitment tools, appraisal system and training programs.
  • Make regular reports and presentations to showcase the learning and development program achievements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Organization.
  • Drive innovation within the training space by use of new techniques, methods or technology that can help improve the effectiveness of training.
  • Support other Crewing related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. Maritime Studies, Human Resources, Organisation Development, Training and Development, Organizational Psychology)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a Learning and Development role with proven track record of achievements in areas such as developing leadership learning journey or competencybased trainings.
  • Experience with designing and delivering a variety of training programs, including inperson, virtual, and elearning formats.
  • Strong project management skills,
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and analyze data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and resultsoriented approach.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and practices in learning and development.
  • Adaptability to changing industry needs and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
