    The Opportunity

    An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and creative Conference Producer to curate forward thinking content for our new event launch within the healthcare team in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible to deliver all aspects of conference production across the event lifecycle.

    A brand new event launch

    Currently the healthcare team runs a flagship brand, Hospital Management Asia (HMA). HMA helps hospital owners, C-level executives, directors, clinicians and healthcare leaders improve outcomes and becoming increasingly efficient through the delivery of online content, digital activations, bespoke webinars and an annual flagship event that attracts over 1,500 attendees. With a track record of more than 22 years, HMA has grown into a 28,000 strong community across Asia Pacific.In 2025, a new brand will be launched to connect innovators and technology firms with Asia's healthcare providers.The healthcare division is one of the portfolios within Clarion Events Asia - a multinational events company, that is owned by private equity organization, Blackstone.     The Candidate:

    Reporting to ­­­the Project Director, the successful candidate will be responsible to deliver all aspects of conference production across the event lifecycle. The producer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships within the healthcare, healthtech and investor sector.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regional in-depth industry research and development to identify industry trends and create commercial content for the annual event and sponsored content digital or in-person from time to time
    • Researching and providing regional market information to marketing and sales functions in terms of sector and geographic markets including value propositions, competitive events analysis and market mapping information
    • Identify, invite and confirm healthcare and healthtech speakers and industry influencers who will be crucial for the success of the conference.
    • Develop and manage new and existing relationships with relevant healthcare ecosystem stakeholders
    • Conducting in-depth telephone, face to face and desktop research potential speakers in the target market to develop commercially viable content
    • Continued speaker engagement to ensure successful onsite delivery
    • To host sessions and conference tracks, as well as facilitate discussions as the need arises

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Degree holder
    • Written and verbal fluency
    • 5 years of conference production experience or relevant transferable skills
    • Ability to write commercially attractive and industry accurate conference agendas for our communities to build a following.
    • Comfortable conducting regular phone calls and face-to-face meetings with C-suite executives
    • Understanding of healthcare sector and/or technological developments/ trends would be a plus.
